Resting In Him

One thing I have learnt in the last few years through different life experience, Jesus has the answer to every situation that you might be facing.

There have been times in my life that I have let myself be carried away with the daily routines, I would wake up and will be rushing through getting ready, having my coffee while driving, do school drop off and rush to the office to get the day started, I admit that my job can be quite demanding at times.

Then I realised that this is wrong as God wants us to be able to take time, sit down, pray and spend time with him before getting into our daily routines. I have learnt to appreciate all the little things that I am blessed with rather than complaining about things that I want and do not have.

Rest in My Presence, allowing me to take charge of this day, do not bolt into the day like a racehorse suddenly released, instead, walk purposefully with Me, letting Me direct your course one step at a time. Thank me for each blessing along the way; this brings joy to both you and Me, says the Lord.

A grateful heart protects you from negative thinking. thankfulness enables you to see the abundance God showers on you daily. Your prayers and petitions are winged into Heaven's throne. In everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you.
